Name : Trina Stroud

Since my journey with Christ, I’ve learned that his purpose and plan for my life was perfectly orchestrated by him. There were no mistakes or blunders when he shaped and chose me for his cause.I stand on my faith in Christ as reason to pursue my purpose and overcome any obstacles in my life. God saw it best to use me with young people, to teach and speak “Greatness” into them.  In addition, I am happily married with three children. My husband is a minister and consultant. He enjoys working in his yard, watching sports and most of all hanging with the family. I have two daughters and a son. My oldest daughter is pursuing a teaching degree. My youngest daughter is in high-school and enjoys cheering, running track and just having fun. My son plays high-school football and baseball. He also has a special interest in instruments and random science experiments. Family is important because the foundation of Christ love starts in the home.

Career :

After studying management in college,  I began to pursue this field at MBNA America Inc. as a customer service  and quality control representative for two years. After leaving there, I went on to work for First Data Coorperation as  an entry level collections agent. Then was promoted to a supervisor  over a collections team for about 3 years. I eventually married and began to build a family which is where the call for teaching was born. I began tutoring elementary and high-school students for 3 years. Once my children were a little older, I home-schooled  them for 7 years. Eventually ,as my children were placed into private school, I volunteered and did some substitute  teaching. I was later appointed as a lead teacher in the Pre-K program at Cornerstorne Leader ship Academy for a year and half. After that school closed, I  moved on to co-foud and open a new school called Chosen Generation Christain Academy. I’ve been teaching there for 5years along with varied responsibilities . Its truly been a BLESSED journey this 12-15 years of teaching and impacting lives for the good.
