Denise loves Christ and bringing hope to others.  She has served youth in public schools and the community for more than twenty years as an educator. Denise is married to her high school sweetheart. They have an amazing teenage son. 

Career :

Denise M. Walker is an minister of the gospel, an author, experienced educator, youth mentor, Christian blogger, podcaster, editor and writing coach. Denise has educated youth for more than 16 years. Most of her career she has served middle school students. She is the founder of Hope-in-Christ Ministries and Armor of Hope Writing and Publishing Services. Denise is the creator and facilitator of the Hope-in-Christ Book Club Facebook group. Denise is also the host of the Hope-in-Christ w/Denise and the Building Literacy and True Identity podcasts. Her ministry for women and girls is “My True Identity.” Denise’s ministry’s mission is help others center their hope, build literacy, and walk in their true identity in Jesus Christ.

Her first book is a youth workbook on the deity of Christ. Her second book, “Hannah’s Hope” is a novel for teen girls. It addresses the truth of child abuse and how our youth deal with it.  Denise is currently working on additional novels in the "My True Identity" series of books. She is also a co-author in two anthologies. She has a passion for designing her own curriculum and workbooks in order to build Biblical literacy in others.

BS degree in Elementary Education, MS degree in Educational leadership, D.O.R.M. International School of Ministry and district certified writing training
