Imagine This… A mother and her children just escaped a domestic violence situation only to find themselves struggling to recover, trying to make ends meet, choosing food over furniture, and sleeping on the floor.  For this reason and more, Helping Oppressed Mothers Endure, Inc., a 501(c)3 nonprofit was established to aid single mothers in starting life anew after divorce, domestic abuse, incarceration and relocation.  As a premier furniture assistance program for single mothers and grandmothers raising minor children, H.O.M.E. is a resource they can count on to provide immediate necessities and household furnishings.  Serving 9 metro Atlanta counties, this organization is designed to help moms who are working and/or going to school and have established housing with a lease in their name.  Our families are those who have survived the ‘tough times’ and are now striving towards an ‘appointed time’ for success in life.  H.O.M.E. steps in to lend a “hand up” by turning a dull and empty house—into a delightful and enjoyable home!!
